What Is It Based On?

This Brain-Sensing Headband contains small Electroencephalography (EEG) sensors that monitor your brain’s electrical activity, which pretty much corresponds to your brain’s inner state.

You’ll hear calm weather sounds when you’re calm, and the opposite when you’re stressed out and plagued with thought.

You’ll also hear a lady guiding you through your meditation session with easy-to-understand instructions such as taking deep breaths to encourage clearing up your mind.

After your meditation session with the headband finishes, which typically lasts for 3 minutes, your results are shown.

Session Results

These results include how long you’ve been able to maintain the 3 states – active, neutral, and calm. It also includes an EEG graph of your entire meditation session.

Active means that your brain’s experienced racing thoughts and fluctuating attention levels. Neutral is your brain’s natural resting state, but still not calm enough.

Calm is your deep-resting state, in which you solely focus on your inhalation and exhalation. Nothing more, nothing less.

During the sessions, you’d sometimes slip out of your calm state to a more turbulent one, you’ll hear weather changing into equally turbulent weather which would prompt you to re-focus.

This is known as a ‘Recovery’. Your result stats will also include how many times you’ve recovered.

You’ll also notice a bird count in your stat. This reflects how many birds chirped and surrounded you in your peaceful trance. These birds only come in good weather, so make sure you maintain your calm state to attract many birds as much as possible. Birds are nice, you know.

Improvement and Progress

The ‘Meditation Made Easy’ application also monitors your progress over time, in which you earn points called ‘Calm Points’ that are estimated in relation to how long you were able to maintain a calm or neutral state.
